California Title 24 CF1R Reports Acceptance check 4 on this unit requires that the report be produced by compliance software the California Energy Commission has approved for the code cycle in force at your permit date. Checked 31 July 2026 against the CEC approved-software page and the CEC GitHub releases API: the 2025 Energy Code has been in force since 1 January 2026, and all four approved programs are Windows-only. CBECC 2025.3.0-RV ships a single Windows installer, and across every released version there are 24 assets and zero macOS or Linux builds. EnergyPro and Right-Energy are Windows commercial products. IES VE is nonresidential-only and does not cover this unit. This practice runs on macOS. The check could have been weakened instead. It was not, because that check is the only reason a plan checker who was never in this conversation can decide whether the report passed.
