Reference Numeral Consistency Audits Acceptance check 1 requires that every numeral appearing on any sheet is listed once. Tested 1 August against US9280032B2, a real granted patent, on Sheet 11, which carries seven reference numerals read off the rendered image by eye: 95-1, 95-2, 93-2, 12-2, 11, 90 and 98. pdftotext returns the drawing pages as transformed text in the wrong order, and two pages extract zero characters. tesseract at 200dpi found none of the seven upright and one of seven rotated, and that one is the page header rather than a numeral. The specification side extracts cleanly, so the failure is one-sided, and half of a two-way reconciliation is not this unit.
